I need someone who is able to install and customise Openbravo ERP and POS. The required configuration will need to allow the connection via the Internet of 2 POS clients based in 2 different remote locations to one central ERP. POS terminals are Mac OS X based (may be changed to Linux or PC) and ERP has to be installed on a VPS server.
The VPS host still remains to be identified but will most probably be running Ubuntu. Any suggestion in terms of affordable and reliable VPS hosting providers is welcome ;-)The selected professional will configure the VPS server with the required technologies, install OpenBravo ERP and configure the POS terminals to connect with the ERP.
The POS terminals will be available for configuration via remote login.The customisations required on the ERP are:
1. centralised inventory management of 2 separate retail locations each with different inventories (of the same basic merchandise) enabling the movement of stock between the storage area and the 2 retail locations (back and forth) as well as between retail locations. Each POS stations should have the ability to see the availability of merchandise in the storage area and the other retail locations.
2. The market segment is retail clothing, so most items exist in multiple sizes and colors, so the DB should reflect these options (I know this is more or less standard on openbravo POS)
3. ability to control prices from the central server that will be reflected on all the POS terminals.
4. ability to issue gift certificates
The completion of this project is a functioning ERP that can centrally control the independent inventory and pricing of connected POS terminals and the movement of stock in and between locations….

There are approximately 20 fields (columns) to be populated in the spreadsheet from the website eg First Name, Last Name, Property Address, Suburb, State, Postcode, Land Area, Property Type etc. The data is contained on 2 web pages (i.e. each property consists of 2 screens that the data must be captured from).
There are various ways to capture the data:
1. Individual fields could be copied and pasted into Excel (however cases may need to be changed)
2. Some data (but not all) can be exported into Excel from the website and then manipulated
3. Straight data entry from the 2 screens
4. Combination of the above.I am not sure of the fastest method - I will leave this to you, as long as each field is in the case required….

I’m painting a mural featuring Honda cars for a repair shop. I need 9 or 10 different car illustrations, in a cartoon style. Sort of like the Pixar “Cars”, but not quite that style (I don’t want viewers to think this is a Chevron ad). Simple spot illustrations, in tone or color. (I can add the color, or you can pick). The mural will be in Berkeley, CA. There will be a background of the Berkeley hills, bay and environs. You can choose to add that part if you want, or just stick to the cars. (Some illustrators specialize in cars, so I can handle the background if its not your thing.)There might be some residual uses for some of the illustrations down the line (maybe my client will want to use them on their website or something.)
I expect that somebody good with cars can knock these out in an hour or so, each. We’re not looking for highly detailed drawings. I want a consistent style, and a “fun” feel to the cars. As long as there is some variety in models (SUV, Civic, Accord) with a prominent Honda logo in the front grill we’ll be good….

We would like to be able to see a prototype before contracting work to see the level of design. We can provide similar sites that we like and competitor’s site.

I purchased and personalized a Joomla template recently. The final step before going live with the new site is to edit some text in a Flash animated header. Also, the flash video rotates several photos (4-6 photos), which I will be swapping for the same number of different photos which I have purchased via istock. We’re talking about changing 10 or so words and 4-6 photos, which are already present in the Flash header, to 10 or so other words and 4-6 other photos that make sense in the context of our service. I can provide details as to the text requirements after project is awarded to winning bidder and provide image files to him (or her) as well.The catch is that the template (at least to my knowledge) did not come with a .FLA file and, thus, it cannot be edited within Flash CS4. Winning bidder will need to have a reliable Flash decompiler or other software that will edit the existing .SWF file. Provided that this software is available to you, the work its self is extremely simple and would take only a few minutes to complete.
Once project is posted I will add the existing file. The white text at center-right reading “Our mission is dedicated to changing the lives of children around the world” is what needs to go. The following shall replace it: “Let your dream of parenthood spring to life.” “Life” should replace “World” as the enlarged and most prominent text. I would prefer that the word “life” be in a more attractive script font as well, if possible. Again I will provide image files to winning bidder. you will plainly see where they belong upon opening the attached header file….

I need Gnome (Ubuntu Karmic) Gamer xsession.1) Netbook Launcher should be used for menu (no panels).
2) One applet should be done. Applet should to be abble to open wizard/dialog for game listing (for parametars like name, platform, game image location, menu location, etc.). Wizard/dialog should not be possible to launch/execute without root password. All games will be copied to the hard disks (network in Cyber Cafe, to be able to use available free spaces on every PC). All available games should to be listed in menu by genre and platform (Linux, Windows via playlinux or crossover, Playstation, etc.). User (client) should to be able to directly launch game from menu. It mean how applet should to mount choosed game (image) on virtual drive (GMount ISO) and automatically launch game via platform/emulator (as Linux games are not problem to be launched directly, Windows games should be directly launched via Playlinux or Crossover without needs that user open Playlinux or Crossover dialogs, etc.).
Point is to have perfectly clear and easy for surf menu and how user neither should to know on what OS he operate, what emulator will be launched for game, where is game located (hard disk or DVD), etc. He should to be able to get real Gamer xsession “for dumies”….
