***I am looking for a cover image based on my title which is "Cracked Out of My Shell"***
***I envision an eggshell to be used in the image (and I need to be sure that whatever image might be used are copyright/royalty free).***
***The sub-title, which also should be used in the image is "A Whimsical Collection of Poems and Short Stories". I will need access to whatever Font is chosen in the Design.***
***I prefer a clean look, possibly with whitish background colors (or cream, eggshell, etc.). Am open to creative displays. ***
***The image should also contain my name at the bottom "By Tom Rxxxxxxxxx"***
***I have attached a file (6x9_Cream_100_cover-only.png) which is the template for this image. The image should mainly be in the white area, but the bgcolor should bleed into the pink areas for purposes of printing.***
***Need to have PSD file with layers (300 dpi)***

I am thinking more of a simple/sleek design (possibly with a very light, eggshell bgcolor) and maybe something like a realistic eggshell image (https://www.google.com/search?q=cool+book+covers&rlz=1C1WSCA_enUS565US571&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiH2YOsyqnTAhVjrVQKHepeDG8Q_AUIBigB&biw=1280&bih=918#tbm=isch&q=cracked+eggshell) with the motion/energy being cracked out, and a cool, elegant (not small) font to highlight the title mainly

yes, I am hoping to create a sense of emerging/like cracking out of a shell...I am looking for an actual eggshell image, with movement/motion/energy coming out; the idea is to be somehwhat serious (a play on the words) but also somewhat elegant. So I am looking for something which might look elegant in its design, but also a bit on the "wry" side of humor...

  Thanks, this is helpful information. What about typefaces? When you say you'd like an "elegant" design... can you provide any examples of design that appeals to you?
  
  Also, what fonts would you like to see... serif, sans serif, cursive, fine, tall, broad... etc. And how many different fonts? I would recommend keeping the total number of fonts on the front cover down to one or two.

Given all that's involved with this task, you may wish to #increaseprize . Laying out a book cover and illustrating an image can be quite different skills and areas of expertise.

Some questions:

What are you hoping to convey with the image?

Humour? Shyness/confidence? Bursting with enthusiasm or emerging reluctantly?

By "cracked" do you mean emerging, or also "cracked" as in crazy?

Do you want a sense of action about the image?
