Update 1/18/2017: I am not sold on a lightbulb being incorporated with our Logo. I do like it, but I would like to see some other ideas. Maybe using the sun. I am leaning towards a simpler logo. I attached the Logo for our Gaming Store (EMG), but that is a more specialized store. Whereas Enlightening Minds will have a far more broad customer base.

Enlightening Minds is a new and quickly growing e-commerce company located in Upstate New York. Each year we process millions of books, the majority of our online sales, and sell them on Amazon.com and eBay. Of course, we are always looking to the future and have begun to expand into other product categories and marketplaces. One of our recent expansions has been the opening of a gaming store in the city of Rochester where we sell not only video games and rent game consoles, but also have virtual reality systems—namely the Oculus Rift and the Vive—and host Magic the Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons tournaments. We have many other business plans we are planning to pursue. And we plan to be around for a while.

We are looking for an awesome logo for our company. I really am not sure what I want it to look like. I just hope I will know it when I see it.

    you are choosing a logo based on the mock up not on the look of the mind...people are just submitting the logo in a tall building and you are falsely falling for it every single time.
    A lot of designers here try to show their logo in the first place in a 3D ( wall ) lettering so they can hide how it looks on a plain white background.

      Please don't choose a design based on a mockup. The logo would normally be used on paper or website and as evident among some of the top rated designs - better be safe than sorry later. Just my two cents since you asked. Thank you.
