I am very excited about putting together this new home warranty brochure. It has been a labor of love and now I need someone to blow me away with their design skills. This design contest will be in 3 parts. The brochure/application itself will be 8 pages in length total. The first 6 pages will be more of the design work with creative layout. The last 2 pages will be mostly all wording because it will be the Terms and Conditions. (Part 1: Submit your best 6 pages which I will provide notes for below on all 6 pages as well as some mock ups with the wording for pages. **I will then select winner.** Part 2: I will send the last 2 pages of the Terms and Conditions to winner which they will drop in because I am not done with them yet, but plan to be in the next couple of days. Part 3: Revisions as there will be design, wording and spacing revisions needed. I will then release funds.) ***WINNER OF DESIGN CONTEST WILL NEED TO SEND ME THE BROCHURE IN A PDF. LAYERS FILE IN CASE MYSELF OR MY PRINT SHOP NEEDS TO MAKE CORRECTIONS AFTER CONTEST IS OVER. PLEASE DESIGN IN A FORMAT THAT WILL ALLOW FOR THIS****

Part 1) I would like the designer to submit their first 6 pages with their best design work. I am going to attached some simple mock layouts I through together so that you will see the necessary wording I need on each page. Please keep in mind you are free to do what ever you want in the design. I just need the wording that's included in the mocks up some where. I am going to include some notes below for each page, so we can save on revisions later.

Pg1: I am open for whatever on this page. I just need to make sure we have our company logo and name on the page. I will attach our current home warranty cover page to give you an example and a simple mock layout I did. We are using our new colors and logo on all marketing pieces for formality. I will attach our logo.

Pg 2: I dropped in some images and stuff on top of another old warranty page. Again, this is just to give you some direction. I would like to have these items and wording on the page, but laid out so it looks good. Also, the phone with the images is our actual phone app. If you download the AIRECS phone app our Home Screen would look just like the one that is in the mock up. Therefore, I would like to keep the same look.

Pg 3: This page may be a little tricky because of all the wording.

Pg 4: This is one of our old warranty coverage pages. I opened in Photoshop and dropped in the wording I needed on the page. I also changed up the coverage options so they will need to be put in descending order based off of the coverage selected. Therefore the coverage items may need to be placed in a different order to have the correct look. (If this doesnt make sense please ask me and I will explain)

Pg 5: Again this is one of our old warranty pages that I dropped in a lot of new wording I need resized and the layout configured to look properly. Also there may be places for certain items to stick out. For instance, where I turned the purple letters to say "Savings of $110 -190 a year" this something that needs to stick out.

Pg 6: Is our insurance quote page. This is basically everything we need to complete an insurance quote.

Part 2) I will send terms and conditions in word format and they will need to be condensed and sized properly to fit on last 2 pages of brochure Pg7 & Pg 8. (I have a good example of this I can send to you as well)

Part 3) Design revisions, wording, and etc. (Release Funds)

***I am open to new design colors within the brochure. Again, the pages and colors chosen are from previous warranty brochures.****

***I am including a zip Folder as well of several other home warranty providers brochures. I hope this helps with the design. ***

***I have also included a copy of our new business cards and folder so you can get an idea of our new colors for AIRECS***

I am trying to upload the text for pg 4-6, but the freelancer site is not letting me upload immediately. I had to go through their help screen to get pgs 1-3 uploaded, but it took 2 to3 days for them to do it. If you want me to email you the text for pages 4-6 please email me at tlcumm@gmail.com and I will reply with that info. I am wondering exactly what you would like changed with page 4? What coverage options need to be descending and do you like the table already on page 4? It does seem quite nice already.

  The coverage options just need to be in order of the selected item. The last two columns are pretty much correct, but the first two you will see they are not in order like the last two. Therefore the coverage will need to be put in order based on selection for that package. i hope I am making sense. Page 4 is fine, but its from an old warranty and I am wanting to make it blend with all the other pages. The layout is fine like it is, but it needs to be cleaned up and have the personal touches of the rest of the brochure.

3. Contractor must call AHW for approval before initiating repair. Homeowner is required to pay the service contractor for all charges incurred in the event no operational failure is discovered. *If the approved failure was serviced by an AHW service provider, that provider will bill us directly. The contract holder will be responsible for the service call feee and any charges not covered by the AHW home warranty, if the approved failure was serviced by a contractor outside of the AHW network and that provider is not willing to bill us directly, simply email the paid invoice to info@AIRECS.com and AHW will reimburse the contract holder.

Pg 3 (C) -When Filing a Claim 1. Homeowner must call AHW at (502) 365-9805 before calling a contractor. Failure to do so may result in refusal of coverage on that item. 2. AHW will provide a qualified, pre-screened contractor who will arrive promptly and invoice AHW (minus $75 service call fee) directly for covered repairs. If AHW’s authorized service provider cannot respond in a timely manner, AHW will approve the use of a contractor outside of its network to ensure the convenience of fast service.

I uploaded the text/copy for pages 1-3, but its not showing in the brief. When I dropped the file again it says its already loaded. The file name is titled "AIRECS Home Warranty Text for New Brochure Pg 1-3" if you dont see it please let me know. I plan on submitting the text for pages 4-6 in the next day or two. Thanks

You should still provide us with the written copy. The text from the PSD files cannot be used. It's best that one person types the copy, rather then all applicants. It will be a lot of wasted time, since only one designer will be awarded the prize money.

-I don’t have all the wording in a text document, because most the mock up images I submitted were already flatten and I just dropped in the necessary text in layers on photoshop. The files are in psd. And you can select the layers that have text and copy and paste into your design (A majority of the font is flatten, so you will need to type out those sections). If you cant open the psd. Files and copy and paste the layers you will just have to type each item out. I took this into consideration when offering the prize amount that I did.
-I will let the contest run the full 2 weeks. However, please don’t wait until the last day if possible.
-I would like all 6 pages included in your design submissions. Because of the different types of pages and their layouts it is important I see all 6 to make my decision.
-Adobe Indesign is fine but I would need all the links, fonts, and etc. (Preferred is pdf. layered)

You mention in brief the need to receive a file that you can modify it. To develop this project we will use Adobe InDesign. We deliver open files and all the links in order to enable any changes after the project delivery . Do you take this option ?
