The first is a logo designed for the "mother brand" (which is to run across a website/mobisite/app) called Onlineloc8.com which in turn will contain a few locate elements of which the first category to be developed is Educationloc8.com - so Educationloc8.com also requires a logo/strong icon identity as it could be presented via a stand alone site/offering or as a "sub section / category" within the mother brand site (site=web/mob/app)

All of the various locate elements to follow under the mother brand must all follow the same theme of using the play on "loc8.com" or just "loc8" (?) so we will have the generic topline of Onlineloc8.com and then the first is Educationloc8.com - the other sub-sections will be provided as and when I have chosen the design partner that I would like to work with on this project (there will be 7 in total under Onlinelic8.com)

Educationloc8.com will be a "tool" for parents/students etc. that are wanting to search for "their ideal" education facility and it will have easy/useful "locate, compare and contact/action" functionality - as well as easy to use back-end functionality for the relevant institution signing up for the service to "display/promote/showcase" their institution's offering/s via a user friendly "self service" tool.

Educationloc8.com will cover the 4 basic education categories of: Pre School, Primary School, Senior School, Post School (Tertiary/College/Uni) - so the logo needs to talk to the latter.

To give a feel for what it is that I intend the final solution to provide, I see a "slogan/tag line" for the Onlineloc8.com mother brand to be something along the lines of: "insights for better choices" - this will be applicable to all 7 of the loc8 sub sections mentoned above.
