I'm looking for a designer to illustrate a book cover for eBook and Print publishing. It is in the fantasy genre and I have attached artwork from similar designs that I like.

** Please note this must be an original illustration, stock images or other people's art is not acceptable, thanks. **

Synopsis:
This story is about a young women's journey from the modern-day world, who is thrust into a confusing medieval world filled with magic, fantasy, royalty and danger.

Designs Ideas:
Two ideas I had for the image are:
- #1 a frail slender young woman, dressed simply ie long white nightgown/dress, sitting on an oversized ornate gothic throne. Her face should be turned, semi-profile. She should appear upset, frightened. The throne will dwarf her and the background could be a simply shadows or a room cast into shadow. She is beautiful.
- #2 a crucible with green smoke and fire underneath.

Or your ideas incorporating include one or more image components:
- a fragile female women in her late 20's: a petite frame with long dark hair.
- an empty throne
- a smoking crucible
- a crown, next to or on the floor by the figure

Title:

Book One

Text (back cover, quotes, ISBN etc):
Once a winner is selected we'll provide you with the complete textual details to be included on the cover (to be included in the winning bid price).

Colors & Style:
The cover should have dark, gothic style, and include main colors of black, grey, and green (such as http://www.margiepalatini.com/dev/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/favoriate_green.jpg) and other colors as the designer requires.

Size:
Most likely 140mm (width) x 216mm (height) (i.e. 5.5″ x 8.5″), unknown depth at this point but assume 30mm (1.2″) with a background that could overflow onto a bigger area if it's deeper.

Delivery:
The resulting file should be delivered in PDF (vector) and PSD (layered) formats.

im sorry im confused, i would imagine that a lot of people myself included would not have submitted there work yet as the contest was scheduled to end tomorrow. This is nothing against the winners work both designs are great i just find this odd considering it would benefit you more than anyone else to at least wait to see everyone's work. Can we still submit work? ?

Hi there, I'm wondering if you could describe what the throne is made out of? What sort of substance? What exactly does it look like? Or you might end up with just a bunch of swords from people, or something spikey made from cheese xD (serious question though!)
