Description: Smartphones are enabling new ways of capture, hence arises the need for seamless and reliable acquisition and digitization of documents. We present an approach for identifying candidate document in a given image using Geodesic Object Proposals. The training images were down sampled to help to extract structures/features of interest and attenuate noise and and increase the training speed and accuracy.
The focus of my work is only detect the object region of document images captured by cameras of smartphones (not text or lines).
Goal: I need a paper with two columns containing: I) Introduction II) related work, III) proposed method IV) experiments V) conclusion
I will give more information about my simulations to be made to the section III to V.
