I've been working in almost 8 years now and i've been using MS Excel most of the time. I was with an Accounting firm before and since we handle various clients, we encounter various accounting systems used by the clients, so to be fair, our company uses excel for us to have a common system used in all our clients.. we used excel to prepare our reports to them. and we manage to create an accounting system using MS Excel. And right now in my current company, although we have an Accounting system, i prefer to use excel in consolidating because system generated reports are for external purposes only like reports submitted to a government agencies. I have to use excel for internal reports.
