The Transdermal drug delivery system has gained importance in recent years. The Transdermal route is an extremely attractive option for the drug with appropriate pharmacology and physical chemistry. Many drugs have been formulated in TDDS form, such as hormonal therapy, wide range of analgesics, drugs of heart diseases, for avoiding GI effects and first pass metabolism. Because of a number of advantages and popularity of transdermal drug delivery systems, attracting the attention of researchers and going to introduce many new drugs in transdermal delivery form.

I am a licensed chemist is a chemistry and research educator for 4 years now. I believe, with my experience as an educator and researcher, i am much exposed to many chemistry and research topics. I have also advised research students on different research projects that involves use of biodegradable polymers and different drug delivery systems. Specifically, I have done researches with my students on controlled-drug delivery system involving biodegradable polymers. I believe I am relatively knowledgeable on the topic and is willing also to do research more about the topics if needed.
