I need a series of related images of the spines of a book to use in a website design. The images must be free of any copyright so that I may use them as I like. Additionally, I will require images of book ends to place on either side of the books.
## Deliverables
Each image will be of a single book spine, viewed directly head on (so that you see the spine squarely but no other part of the book). The book spine will take up the entire image (no border around it). The book spine will appear like an old fashioned stylish book, of the type that a rich man would have in his library (see the red book in the image attached to this bid for an idea of what I mean). Each book spine will be in its own separate image file. Each book spine will have one of eight different gold leaf accents on it: a maple tree leaf, a frog, a double helix (as in DNA), an amoeba (single-celled organism), a tree, a human brain, a chicken, and a turtle. I can provide scrap art as needed for each. Each book spine will have one of these logos, so there will be eight different designs. Each design will then be generated in a series of ten colors, for a total of 80 images (10 colors x 8 designs). All the images will be the same except for color and gold leaf logo, so that when the images are stacked alongside each other it looks like a set of matching books.
Additionally, I require a set of matching bookends to place on either side of the books. I don't have specifics in mind for these images, merely that they generally match the design of the books.
See [login to view URL] for a rough idea of what I have in mind as a finished product. Please note that on this webpage, I am using a more basic book design than I would like to use, and these books all have title text on the spine (which I will add myself).
Please be award that it might take a few rounds of back-and-forth to get the design just right. I promise to be clear in my communications and not require too many rounds.
