i am a nutritionist by profession and i have attended training and seminars on nutrition. I once worked as a restaurant manager at a 3-star hotel and on that position, cook professionalism is key.
On cooks training, i would focus on HACCPS, food and beverage handling, temperature control for foods, food safety standard operating procedures, cleaning and sanitizing food contact surfaces.
