Circuit design and code for motion-responsive LED strip lighting

Hi, I'm an electronics engineer with more than 6 years of experience in designing and developing various digital and embedded systems... Currently I help engineering students to complete their academic projects. Also conduct seminars and workshops on Microcontrollers and Robotics... So I have experienced with a lot of Microcontrollers such as PIC, AVR, ARM, Arduino etc. I'm also experience with a lot of sensors and sensor modules.... I'm very proficient with EAGLE too... [login to view URL] Can you please tell me why you are going with such an expensive board for this simple project??? According to my understanding what you need is 1. A Simple microcontroller(PIC which is cheaper, Arduino which is simpler) 2. A distance sensor(Ultrasonic sensor for outdoor applications(Expensive but more effective), IR for indoor(cheaper)) 3. A Transistor as a switch This one is very simple and I can do the PCB designing too, if needed...:-) I really would like to know more about your project, kindly let me know if you are interested...:-) Thank You
