An add on for ArcGis Desktop in C# or Arcpy for the purpose of studying the migration of different populations. The project must provide a good documentation and code explanations. Minimal requests: Based on the country of provenience of the migrators, the countries that they migrated to and the number of people that moved, the map should be colored in a gradient, the intensity depending on the concentration of immigrants. Based on the same criteria, the user could choose to pinpoint the areas that concentrate the majority of the immigrants, using a form of cluster analysis (maybe HotSpot Analysis?). The user should also be able to also save certain important results from the queries and/or charts to showcase the immigrants' preference for certain countries.
