Code Void - Indie Game: The game is about survival. A third person shooter that takes place in the future on spaceships. The player begins on an escape pod sent to retake the ship infested with pirates (piracy was a huge problem with spaceships and bounties existed to retake those ships). The player then lands on a procedural generated ship. They must search this ship for supplies and weapons in order to fight off raiders who attacked the ship. The player has full access to anywhere in the ship, with a variety of rooms from bathrooms, lunchrooms, storage rooms, and the bridge. You can also gather resources (inventory system) to craft new equipment and furniture. Furniture can be used to decorate rooms for the player, or to create a better defense in the ship. There will also be shops (similar to Dead Rising 2 how they are just boarded up in stores) that the player can find in order to buy and sell items. Certain areas of the ship hold greater rewards, but also contain stronger enemies. The player can level up their character, add attachments to their weapons, and perform specific tasks to gain access to specific rooms (for example, turning on a generator to gain access to a storage room). The game was inspired by both Minecraft and Dead Space, and the models are created with voxel cubes in MagicaVoxel. The third-person image shown was a render in Blender that I attempted to make.
