Receipt printer: [login to view URL] I have wrote a simple program to control the printer.I manage to read paper status and print some sample text few [login to view URL] my solution have stability issue. After few times of read paper status and print receipt,it would hook the com port,no longer to control the printer,until physically unplug and plug back the COM port. Please refer to my attachment,which is my solution. Your solution could be either fine tune my solution or rewrite solution, Pm for more detail.

Have you tried these things: in button1_Click() Check to see if the port is open first then open it. Close the port at the end Set tp = null (yeah, I know its supposed to do that automatically but.... Thanks, Bryan
