Modify the open-source Cura 3D Slicer that is currently available for a Windows OS. When a user launches Cura and attempts to open an 3D object file such as c:\any directory\xyz.3mf before Cura actually performs the load\open file operation as it currently does the modification will call another program (I will provide) and passes that program the file name including path like "C:\temp\xyz.3mf" to the program as a string variable and the program will pass you back a single variable that will contain the text "allow" or some other text. If the entire result variable passed back is "allow" then just allow the open process to happen as before the modification if the resultant variable passed back to you is anything other than "allow" then display a message box with the resultant text and close Cura after the user clicks ok on the message box.
