We have thousands of products that we need to have entered onto an Excel spreadsheet for loading into our website and Quickbooks. We are looking for an individual freelancer to enter these products into the two types of spreadsheets. Product catalogs by manufacturer would be provided from our distributors in an Excel spreadsheet. 4 additional columns would then be added to include online price, store price, and prices of our 2 largest competitors (which are obtained from their websites). Online prices and store prices calculated using basic excel formula.
That information then copy & pasted to 2 other spreadsheets for import into Quickbooks and oscommerce.
The description of the products needs to be entered in HTML format, so very basic html knowledge is requested but not required.
Images must be mined from either our distributors’ site or the manufacturers’ site. These images will need to be sized, optimized for the web (while preserving photo quality) and saved in jpg formats. A zip file containing images should then be transmitted to us for loading.
We will provide Excel files email. You should email or instant messaging for communication. Daily progress needed with daily file transfers.
Job entails mostly cut & paste. An average data entry person can do a single product in a minute or slightly more.
We are looking for an hourly rate with honesty and professionalism.
Immediate start and rapid turnaround desired!
We are asking for a trial run with an average of less than 100 products to be turned around in 24hours. If the quality and the quantity are satisfactory then we will assign you a new catalog. Size of catalogs may vary.
If everything goes well then we give you more responsibility and more tasks. We are looking for a long-term team player as changes are made regularly to catalogs. Future assignments would most likely be at least monthly.
