For the past four years I've held the position of NSW/ACT Claims Co-ordinator for a Vehicle Logistics company based in Australia. The role requires me to possess, build on and maintain a high skill set in admin as it's an integral part of my role. My daily activities consist of investigating the merits of damage claims for vehicles that the company transports around Australia and either process or reject them accordingly. Each claim needs to be above board and the companies procedures followed closely otherwise a claim can quickly be escalated to management, Department of Fair Trading or the company can even have legal action taken against them.
In the last four years I've been solely responsible for managing an extensive portfolio of claims (for vehicles delivered within NSW/ACT) and seeing them go from initial lodgement stage, to overseeing the repair process, then compiling accurate information to be sent to the accounts department in order for the claims to be remitted. I totally love the challenge of this career but I think that the Data Entry Specialist role that you're offering would be just the challenge I need, moving forward to the next phase in my life and career.
