We have feedback from various sections of our websites --- on average we get about 200 pieces of feedback total in a WEEK.
The reports are generated in Excel already, and categorized by the questions asked (generally what customer liked & what we can improve)
We're looking for someone to create an EXCEL template that we can copy paste these feedback items into.
From there we will use your template to categorize further and determine patterns/trends/important items.
For example: If a customer has negative feedback and says our site could be better, we then use your template to start catergorizing this feedback.
We need a column that we can summarize what the customer's problem was - we fill this out manually.
Next column is where we choose if the feedback was positive or negative.
Next column is the general category of what the problem is -- speed, accuracy, application, etc.
Next column is the sub-category -- specific items (suggestion, typo, bug, wrong information, broken page, etc.)
Lastly the MOST IMPORTANT --- after we've filled in the above for each piece of feedback,
we need to somehow generate a report that tells us what is the most important this month/week.
So from the example above, we need to know what's the most in Positive and Negative.
It needs to tally up the general category and sub-category - and tell us what the most important is.
Example from above - we had a lot of negative, category was SPEED, and sub-category in speed was that there were BROKEN PAGES.

Basically we want to manually categorize the feedback we're receiving (choosing from a drop-down of predefined categories) -- after we've put all the feedback in and filled out the cells, it should be able to tell us what's the totals, and the most popular feedback (good and bad).
Hope that makes sense, I'm hoping this is fairly straight forward - since a lot of it is happening manually.
We just need the logic to tally up the feedback categories.
