I'll have several larger sets of data (100,000-250,000) records in 5 seconds or so. The format is a CSV file with 2 fields, date and a numeric value. I've included the a sample file. There are 10 files total: The data when plotted looks like the graphic file also included. I put in excel and graphed just the column containing the data values. For now, I need: 1) This type of graph 2) An additional line on the graph connecting the local maximums 3) The number of local maximums 4) The range of the local maximums (max of the peaks - min of the peaks) I'd prefer this be a sample excel spreadsheet, minitab, or something that I can process new files here. Open source is fine, I run Windows and Ubuntu. ==========================================

Hello. I think I can complete this easily within your budget and as fast as you provide data. I don't believe that it will be a problem to create an easy-to-use spreadsheet that you will be able to use in the future. I have years of experience in financial analysis, but my specialty was in practice of various forms of statistical quality control, serving as lead in most cases of process improvement. I am well-versed in control charts, and although it's been a couple of years I think this is a very quick project. We're basically looking at a $6 project if you can provide the data. I can probably (barring any unforeseen difficulties) turn it around tonight. My bid reflects whatever gremlins arise and whatever tweaking you may require. I'll only invoice for the amount of time required. Thank you, and look forward to hearing from you.
