A project list is maintained in Sage Timberline and exported as an Excel file for use in filling in several Excel office forms. For project management, there is a need for the same Excel data to be dynamically imported into Adobe Acrobat DC fillable forms as a drop down list (based on the project number) to populate several text fields in the forms. The Excel file is updated periodically, so the lists are dynamic. The Excel file name is static and it resides on the company's Dropbox account. The solution should be developed in Acrobat JavaScript and be portable and maintainable across several Acrobat forms requiring the same formatted data. Populating the required fields has been accomplished, this project is to develop the code for the dynamic connection between Excel and Acrobat for the end user to use in the forms.
