Expand a custom interface for control of an energy management system for a chain of stores. We have already created a custom software (source code will be provided) that is used to control stores HVAC, lights and other power devices. The controller uses standard TCP and IP protocol and allows external devices (our program) to communicate with an HAI automation controller using the controller’s Ethernet network interface.
Each store has a controller installed and relays wired to the controller, the initial controller program will be loaded onsite. The custom application that has already been developed is used to connect to each store and make basic changes to temperature set points, store opening and closing times and some other basic timed based events. We will be expanding this program with new mapping features, panel monitoring, data logging, error reporting and other modifications to current program.
Programmer Requirements
We are looking for an experienced programmer that will DEDICATE to our project. From the scope this will be a long term project with a lot of upgrades and more future programming work. Please only bid if you are in it for the long haul. The first part of this project is on a tight time schedule so DO NOT BID if you are not dedicated. I will expect daily reports and very good communication throughout. Once programmer is selected I would need you to start immediately.
