Build an Auction Website

The site will a standard structure similar to other existing auction sites, which will serve as a base that we would later modify with our design and other functional changes as required. This will be done in step 2. For now, the job requirements are: 1. Extensive experience of working on PHP based e-commerce sites. 2. Experience of working on auction sites is very desirable. 3. Experience of implementing responsive design is required. 4. We demand punctuality and clear commitments. If you cannot be punctual and cannot provide clear documentation and estimates, please look elsewhere. 5. We would like to use open source auction software to reduce build time. You will help us choose the appropriate one. 6. The site must implement all of the typical auction site functionality. This means user management & communications (emails), auction listings and management, bidding, payments (the site will be UK based) etc. 7. You will be responsible for analyzing the benchmark sites in detail and then implementing a functional web site for us. You will help us choose a hosting provider (in UK) and you will install and deliver the site in full working order. 8. Fluency in English is required and you should expect frequent skype calls to review work and plans. The names of the benchmark sites will be given once we have had a chance to talk to you. The final budget for the project will also be determined at that time.
