Build A Club website for a martial art club

The UCI Nihon Karate Club is a competitive club practicing the traditional art of Japanese Karate. Our club has been in existence for about 10 years now. We are looking to hire someone to help us build a new website for our club. Our old website is outdated and doesn't incorporate a few things we would like to have. The old website runs from our university servers which sometimes has issues. Thus, we are looking to get our own web address, so that we are no longer dependent on University servers. We are looking to build a website that is simple, elegant and yet showcases the spirit of karate.

Overall the website is good. If you can make changes or improvements to the existing website, along with the add-ons features we would like to implement, that will be fine. If you would like to work on the project, kindly send me a preview of what you have in mind and we can move on from there.
We are planning to complete the project by the mid-January next year. Kindly find attached a document listing some of the features/ pages we would like to incorporate in the website.
