Hi there, I've got loads of experience in design and bags of enthusiasm. I have worked with many high street retailers in the UK such as Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, USC and Peacocks in the past and currently work for a French retailer. I have very commercial handwriting and understand the constraints of designing a collection which is new and original yet ensuring that it is commercially adapted to the labels / brands target market. I have a good knowledge of fabrics and extensive experience with suppliers in Chine / India and Turkey and therefore understand how to produce sound technical sheets. I regularly visit trend fairs such as Premiere Vision / Whos Next / Bread and Butter and have experience working with trend agencies such as Peclers in Paris to create on trend seasonal themes for brands.
