ASP.NET Contact Bar / Instant Messenger Client User Interface Development

This is a project to develop a contact bar / instant messaging client for an ASP.NET website currently in development on a windows 2008 server with a MYSQL DB. This is a development only project; the design has already been mocked up. This involves two primary tasks, the contact bar and the instant messaging user interface components. The HTML, CSS, JS structure of the content bar is complete for the most part. The work required here is to populate the contact bar with the users contacts' information from the following website APIs: facebook & facebook messenger, twitter, yahoo contacts & messenger, outlook, and gmail & gchat. Profile pictures and key contact information is to be obtained and aggregated.

The second task is to use the already functional instant messaging capability using the matrix XMPP library for Facebook, Yahoo, and GChat and develop the clientside user interface. This includes displaying the instant messages next to the contacts in both a minimized and expanded format as well as providing the hooks to send, receive, attach files, and add multiple participants.

All requirements have been defined in the attach excel list and mockups have been attached for all screens. This is a development only task and does not involve design.
