Hello, I am the head designer of an independent board game design team in the USA and we are looking to commission an artist to complete the art for the game. The game is a wintry (snow and ice) dark fantasy RPG board game. We are looking for mood and atmosphere in the paintings, brooding fantasy characters in a painterly realistic/semi-realistic style. We are NOT looking for an Anime/Manga/Cartoon style. Please see the attached sample image to get a sense of the style we are seeking. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the moment we will need 15 single figure, whole body, full color pieces created for 4 characters and 11 monsters. Initially we would like to have a few quick, basic concept sketches of each character and each monster, these sketches do not have to be new work created specifically for us, if you have previous work already created that you believe is suitable we would very much like to see them. We will then choose one of these sketches to go forward with and have a detailed full color painting made of it. These full color pieces would be whole body, single figures,in full color with a good amount of detail and dynamic poses but simple backgrounds. We will need one revision of this full color piece built into the budget. If you take on the project, we will obviously need to provide ongoing input on design, but your input and vision of the game will also be extremely valuable. This will be an ongoing project and we will need additional images created in the near future. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we require now:
Preliminary basic concept sketches, of 4 characters and 11 monsters. 15 full color single figure paintings, with simple backgrounds. 300 DPI resolution. Sized roughly 8x11 inches (20x28cm) We will need commercial use of the 14 full color pieces.
