My name is Bea, I am a published author and illustrator of picture books, coloring books, activity books, chapter books. I finished Faculty of Visual Arts in 2008. I' m working as a children's book illustrator& graphic designer for several publishers and I have some self published, #1 best selling ebooks. I have experience in tempera, pencil, oil, watercolor, ink, and computer: Corel, Photoshop, Illustrator.

I used to be a primary school teacher here in Singapore and have always enjoyed teaching art lessons and reading children's books to my students. I've since branched out into another field (design, graphic work, etc), but I am excited about illustrating a children's book as it's something I've wanted to do for ages! I would love to collaborate with you on this. I use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign and am proficient in all of them. I'd like to know in which program illustrations should be made and deadline. In which style illustrations shuld be done - realistic? cartoon? comic? and how many pics are required for your book?

I am a qualified textile and apparel designer, I illustrate for merriment; I am an aunt to two lovely nieces, have been part of a lot if storey telling through illustrations, comic strips and puppetry. I am adept to transforming narratives pictorially. For your benefit, I may share a template with you, which may assist in your decision.

I have experience on children's illustration books. You can see samples of my work on my portfolio. I can work with traditional and digital media. If we start a collaboration, first you see and approve the pencil sketches and then you see the final colored illustrations.
