Betfair Java developer for price recording application (1517492)

Looking for a Java developer experienced with Betfair and applications using the Betfair API. There are several applications i want done but they all revolve somehow around recording price data from Betfair. At the moment i have no plans for automated betting, just data recording. I am a Java programmer myself but i am committed to a number of projects myself therefore i'm looking for someone else to assist me in this specific area. You must be familiar with, and know how to design an application that: - Is written in Java and works on a server under Tomcat (with a MySQL database if needed) - Runs efficiently in terms of CPU and memory resources and uses multi-threading. - Uses the Betfair API, free, subscription or vendor code taking into consideration the data access limitations in each situation. Application1: A price monitoring application for football, match winner market. The application should retrieve the current price for all football match winner markets and store that price in a MySQL database. Application2: A price recording application in-running for Tennis, later possibly other sports. The application must run 24/7 and record the price on every tennis match. Also the current score from a location other than Betfair. More information on these applications will be provided to bidders showing an appropriate profile and level of experience. We will discuss the design of the application(s) in detail before any project gets finalised so you will have an opportunity to adjust your bid when all is clear. You do not need to be available immediately, i do not have a fixed deadline for this. I am willing to entertain any conversation with anyone as long as you know what you are talking about. That probably excludes anyone who hasn't already created several applications with the Betfair API. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
