AJAX JSON Intel XDK query

Intel XDK required for this task. Use Intel XDK to open the Jasontest XDK project and modify code or XDK settings to make AJAX/ JSON call execute in XDK "Debug" and "Test" modes. Currently works only in "Emulate" mode. (ref. uploaded [login to view URL]). This is a very small XDK project. The project is only a single AJAX call to a url. The url responds with JSON records which are written to console. The existing project currently works perfectly when using XDK's Emulator mode, but it does not work when using XDK's "Debug" and "Test" modes. You will see this when running this project in XDK Emulator mode. The Ajax/ JSON call to the url USED TO WORK on earlier versions of Cordova/ XDK in the Debug and Test modes. I thin its been about one year since I last ran this on XDK Debug successfully... Since it no longer works , I believe this may have to do with the Intel XDK latest Build settings or Cordova's permissions or CSP which changed with Cordova 5.1? If not , then maybe I need to use a different method when calling this url which works with the latest? Deliverable: Modify code and/or Intel XDK configuration settings to enable AJAX call to capture JSON records from from the provided url. This project will be accepted after I run it on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S5) from the XDK "Debug" and "Test" modes. Changes made to make this work must be noted so I understand what the problem was.
