The scope is to re-implement as an angular.js (1.x) directive a small features subset from the following project

As a starting point, when writing your own code, you can use the above project
as a reference to understand how the required features were implemented. I'm not interested to get a blind (throw it all) copy-paste from angular-filemanager project - I'm interested to get good quality code which handles the requirements.
See attached picture to understand which subset of the features should be delivered with this project.
The implementation should be done as an angular.js (1.x) directive (with Bootstrap) on the browser and node.js on the backend.
To the maximum extent possible the implementation should be done as a "reusable software component"
It should be trivial to re-use/drop this angular-directive/component in any existing angular.js application.
Latest version of Angular.js 1.x should be used (not angular2).
