We are looking for a team to Build a simple Private Cloud Infrastructure ( Virtually ). The solution will be based on Openstack, Ubuntu 13.10, JuJu, and ( some ) MaaS. Outputs will be - High Level Architecture and Physical, Network and Virtual Design for a two site, basic configuration, - Detailed Build Guides for all System Types ( screen shots, step by step ). - Detailed Deployment Guides for all System Types ( Including Deployment Checklists/Configuration Parameters ) - Basic Component Test Scripts and Results for all System Types ( eg components working and all syslog errors have been fixed ) - Basic Component Test Scripts and Results for a simple deployment - For all but the physical Host deployments, Virtual Machine Build(s). The configuration should assume there is no existing supporting infrastructure ( eg No DHCP, DNS, NTP, apt-mirror, syslog server ), and all that exists are two Internet connections and two outer router/firewalls. The solution should be suitable for deployment to a hostile environment, and each component should include where possible basic security enforcing capabilities ( eg n-tier/DMZ/zoning, host firewalls, PAM lockdown, Apparmor ), System Hardening ( eg to NSA standards ), The solution should include a 'High Availability' capability, so that service could continue in the loss of one site. All documentation delivered via Wiki, in english, and suitably formatted for printing/document based delivery. You should demonstrate strong Linux and Ubuntu skills, citing external references if you can. At this time, we are looking for outline time and cost proposals, as we continue to refine this project.
