I need to add a dropdown list menu on the product page (Simple Product). In this list there will be other products. When the customer selects a product from the list and then click on the button to add the main product to cart then the both products will go to the cart (the product he added + the product he selected in the dropdown list). The dropdown menu will be added on the product page through static block. I need the Event-Observer to do this task.

Hello, i have gone through your requirement, and yes i can create a static block and need to discuss about your requirement, in detail, because, i can do this through the ajax to add the product into cart, you need a Event Observer, i did not get you on this, we built the event observer for to do some custom task with exiting events, but we need a diff product to fire same event when user add the product into cart. what i will do on this, we can do it through ajax, we add the product into cart when user selected a product from dropdown, we can fire a custom ajax request for that product also. you get on this let's discuss on details. thanks
