Assess How to Adapt Products to the Market: Product positioning is crucial in marketing. This requires marketers to develop a competitive analysis of the marketplace to position the product with unique distinguishable features to customers. Product positioning in the global marketplace requires that marketers analyze and adjust the product to meet global customer needs and provide value to a global customer base with clearly communicated and deliverable value proposition that are differentiated from the products of the competitors. Part I: Should a company always price its products/services at the same price or should it adapt based on the economic situation in the particular country? Analyze the sales history of the Apple iPhone in Japan. Some say that this product has not done well with Japanese consumers. Is it because of the pricing or product features?
