EVERYTHING SHOULD BE DONE IN MATLAB
Steps:
1. read credit card image
2. divide the image into two halves
3. apply 3*3 mean (average) filter to the second half
4. apply sobel edge detector to find edges

L(L==i)=0;
end
end
6. calculate the horizontal profile of the edges
7. apply 1*15 1D mean filter to smooth the profile
8. binarize the profile by thresholding
