Project Description:
This project is to simulate a simple home alarm system utilizing the 68HC12 microcontroller board. The switch will be used to arm/disarm the system. The magnetic door switch will have a delay programmed in (20secs) allowing the person entering the home to disable the alarm (from the on / off switch). The PIR will be an immediate alarm, triggering the LEDs and the audible alarm.
Process
On / Off switch simulates ARM / DISARM for home alarm system
System Armed:
The door switch will trigger a countdown on the LCD, if (20secs) the system is not disarmed, or the door switch, the alarm will go off.
Window alarm (PIR) if the PIR is triggered it will send an immediate audible alarm.
Final product, must be assembled with zero errors, download to my microcontroller, and interface with hardware.
