Bl Entry Form and Manifest Report

The project involves creating 2 forms: [login to view URL] Entry Form : This involves a master and child table. The user can search for the vsl from a drop down box, populated from the master table. A query would then return the voyages for the selected code . The user can select the voyage from the list or even enter a new voyage number. Rest of the fields would get updated in the transaction file. There would be the usual navigational buttons on the form. [login to view URL] Entry form : This would be a tabbed page form wherein data for each tab would be populated from various child tables: i) The first tab page would allow the user to select the vsl and voyage . A query from the child table would then reflect the BLs already in the BL Table. If the user wants to edit any BL, he can just select the BL and the focus would shift to the BL Tab [login to view URL] can else press the ADD button from the frame and the focus would shift to the BL tab page, with a blank form. ii) The BL tab page would then reflect the data from a child table. There would be a few drop down boxes from masters for validations. iii) The focus should shift to Consumers / other vendors tab now and the details would flow from a separate child table. However the user can select the customer code. One BL could have multiple customers and the customers are categorised. iv) Container tabbed page would reflect a number of containers in the grid allowing the user to update or enter new containers in the rows. There would be 2 columns with a drop down box , allowing the user to select the size or enter it manually. v)The focus should shift to the Freight tab. This is also a grid , with validations and drop down combos/lists The primary key connecting all the tables would be a combination of 2 fields : line+bl [login to view URL] Report : This report would reflect all the above, depending on the param selected by the user.
