Access Database - Form / Report Recreation

4 or 5 tables (I would create in advance) 100 forms/100 reports 1) Professional splash screen required for the user to choose what form to be filled out. 2)That form chosen would then present itself with the specific field entry required to complete that form. 3)User fills in the form and then can generate a report based on what was entered. 4)Report is created and can be printed on 8.5*11 standard letter paper. -The tables would all be used as lookup tables for the forms and ultimately the reports. All forms/reports have many common fields. -No saving of info will be done on the database. -Need it to be in an access 2003 format as I have multiple people going to use this and all generating "one time" reports that once are created are simply printed. I would provide copies off all forms/templates currently in use and how they would be expected to look once printed along with on the form what fields are expected to be populated where they should be placed on the form. I would need the generated form to be identical to the current form (which is currently in Word Perfect) . SO HAVING WORD PERFECT TO SEE THE FORMS THAT IM GOING TO PROVIDE IS A MUST. PLEASE DONE BOTHER CONTACTING ME IF YOU DONT HAVE ACCESS TO WORD PERFECT. The goal of this is to centralize the form generation so all users (approx. 40 - never more than 2-3 at a time) use the same forms. Right now they use Word Perfect to merge codes from data files. Problem is if more than one person is using the same data files there is a record locking issue and thus why a database would be advantageous. Essentially what im seeing is Word perfect is the problem. I can print the forms (currently in WP) so that you have an idea where the form fields are to go. What i will accept is a user input form (per document) that prompts the user for input. Once inputted it will populate the fields that have been inputted. There a few fields that should be database driven and am hoping to have that pulled from an access database that will be housed at the root of the folder from which the individual files (all 93 of them ) are kept. In other words it will use a relative path to the database. Im looking for thoughts on this. Please reply back with thought?
