BASIC EXPLANATION OF METERNOME SOFTWARE PROJECT 2/2007 2 PHASES There are 2 phases for this project. The first phase is outlined in the document “ONE CIRCLE explain concept??. Whoever does the best job with this phase of the project will receive the contract for the second phase. The phases are called METERNOME C and METERNOME D. Please open the zip below, and open "ONE CIRCLE" for a complete explanation of this project. This is musical software, a metronome/drum machine that functions much like a clock, with only one rotating arm, It is basically a sequencer, but it goes in a circle instead of a straight line. The top of the circle is always the downbeat. The hand goes around the circle at a variable rate. The basic elements are : One circle. An indicator, like a clock hand, that goes around in a circle and points to positions, like the positions on a clock face, activating sounds. The user can choose (select) between 3, 4 ,5 ,6 ,7, 8, 9, 12, and 16 points placed around the circle. These represent time signatures. It plays various metronomic sounds, goes at variable tempo, and the user can select variable subdivisions, 25 in all.. This is an improvement, a different, better design, based on existing software. Please see [login to view URL] for the existing software (METERNOMES A and B). If you can’t see it, I can send them to you. For the advanced software, if you want to see it for the project, I can zip it up and send it to you. Thank you Andrew RhythmSource
