ASP.NET (VB.NET or C#) WCF Service Configuration

*****NOTE MODIFIED REQUIREMENTS********** WE WILL ACCEPT C# OR VB.NET BUT HIGHLY PREFER VB.NET *****Requirement #3 is no longer in scope******** This project centers only around the ability to upload a DLL, GAC it, persist and inflate information based on an object model, and a nice interface to support it *************************************** This project will center on the ability to dynamically configure and launch WCF Services from strongly named assemblies that reside in the GAC. Key aspects of a WCF Service will be identified later in this document as pieces that will need to be configurable and stored in a database. There are 4 key components to this project which will be broken into phases of defined completion. 1) ASP.NET Interface to enable an end user to upload an assembly (dll) and register it in the GAC and database. The assembly that registers the uploaded file into the GAC must work within Component Services for the purposes of setting an administrative identity. 2) ASP.NET Wizard Interface to construct a WCF Service by combining a strongly named assembly with configurable WCF settings to build and launch a service. ## Deliverables 1) Solution that contains ASP.NET Web Project that compiles 2) Supporting assemblies to perform functionality in ASP.NET project (eg assembly that GACs assembly). 2) VB.NET (or C#) Project that contains complete object model and supporting classes to persist object model to SQL 2005 database and also inflate object model from database 3) Scripts to create all necessary tables and stored procedures. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. This project is more about building an interface for configuration rather than knowledge about WCF services themselves. I'd be interested in responses in terms of other areas of a WCF service that you would recommend to make configurable. I do want to emphasize though that knowledge about WCF is not critical, this project would be more about building a nice interface to manage configuration of the object model. I can take the object model as extracted from the database and spin up the WCF services myself. Success in this project could lead to more development work on this project and related exercises.
