You will be producing an HTML website using C#, CSS and HTML.
There will be about 15 templates (5 main unique and the rest should be
just slight modifications of the main ones).
All templates will need to be dynamic from various aspects (content, navigation, # of nav items, etc.)
Previous experience with producing dynamic html websites is required.
NOTE: XHTML 1.0 Strict coded template will be provided to you that will be cross-browser compatible. You will use that to produce the other templates - but please note the comment about browser testing.
Strong knowledge of .NET is required. You will be given a complete buildable solution to start with that contains a DAL and a BLL. The datasource in this project will be a serial stream encapsulated in a binary file that is read in through the DAL and exposed in the BLL. You will be given completed strongly typed objects for every piece of content in the website (ex: navigation array contains navigation objects for each navigation. Each navigation object contains objects for sub navigation. Each template content will be contained in an object as well. Furthermore, you will be provided with a sample ASP.NET project which clearly shows how the content in the objects can be accessed. This will be done via dumping all the content to the output of an ASP.NET page.
If you have questions about the technology, how the content will be fed, or what you will be required to do vs. What will be done please ask. If you have no idea what this paragraph means you should probably not be bidding on this project unless you first take some time to research the relevant technologies.
To be considered, please be clear in your bid and provide:
1. URLs of your 5 best HTML websites
2. your availability over the next 2 weeks (starting Oct 1st)
3. your fee for about 8 days (assume this work will last 5 days plus 2-3 days for feedback/review/additional changes)
4. your rating from 1 to 10 (10 being the best) of your experience in
a) C#
b) CSS
c) JavaScript
PLEASE PLEASE - do not reply with boiler-plate responses as your reply will be ignored. If you are seriously interested in this project take time to fully read the requirements and either ask questions or provide answers to above questions
Good Luck.
