Id like to make a proxy to help me test different performance scenarios. the goal being that i can make several tests of pages with different settings to allow me to see how the page would perform with different settings in place. I will be using the system you build here to construct new pages on our server from the target server. Below are the proxy settings. Ideally i can have a page that will let me put a url in it. The proxy page will have some settings 1-gzip - js, css, html ( I should be able to choose some or all) 2-combine css in the html document head to a single requested file (keep the order and only items in the head) 3-combine js in the head to a single js file (keep the order and only items in the head) 4-option to minify the js and css we can use yui compressor here. You will have to find a way to get all of the html content run all of these optimizations and then update the user with a new url to the page with the options they have selected. It will be critical that the servers gets all of the html to be able to do this. Let me know any issues you see with this project and any ways it might not be accurate to achieve what i am trying to do. To choose you for this I will need to know some of your approach and also need to know that you can make nice clean commented code for this.
