Delphi conversion project

We have an application written in Delphi 2, using QuickReport 1.1 and Paradox. We need this application upgraded to Delphi 7 and the QuickReport version included with that. This project contains maintenance forms and related reports for the supporting tables of our entire application. It consists of 8 data modules, 77 forms, 13 units, and 120 reports. 83% of the forms and 79% of the reports are relatively simple. 14% of the forms and 18% of the reports are a little more complicated. 3% of the forms and reports are very complicated. A few of the parent forms and reports have already been converted. We use InfoPower4000 ??" an older version was used with Delphi 2. We have some third-party and custom components. Some have already been converted. Some will need to be rewritten/replaced. Some examples: * TComboBoxPlus, TDBComboBoxPlus and TDBLookupComboBoxPlus from Out & About Productions (can be replaced with InfoPower components) * TtaDBMRO grid by Tamarack Associates * TPosSaver * TmeDBNavigator by Michael Messerschmidt * JustOne by Steve Keyser * TColorButton by Jonathan Grant and Peter Steele * Most instances where a form calls other forms can now be replaced with InfoPower’s record view. We will provide all source and Delphi 2 executable with sample data. Coding standards and naming conventions used should be maintained as much as possible. Coder will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving source code. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows
