I'm in need of an ASP.Net (VB.Net) page in which the user can dynamically add additional rows to a table. I don't care if its coded in HTML, uses a repeater or asp:Table...just as long as it works.
The table will have 8 columns and "N" rows.
When the user first enters the page, the table will display 3 initial rows as described above. Each data element in each row is to have a unique ID (rowCount) based on the current row number. For example, date1 for row 1, date2 for row 2...etc
An "Add" button will allow the user to append 1 new row to the table per click...so if I initial have 3 rows and click "add", I will then have 4 and so on.
Important: As the user enters/selects values into the data elements in each row, if they then choose to "Add" a new row, when the new row is displayed, the previous values entered in the table should remain.
Each data element will be saved into a database (I'll handle this)...so I prefer that the code be written so that I can easily loop thru all of the table rows and their associated data elements in order to obtain any values entered by the user.
