I need an example of how to create a dynamic query in MS Access.
The query will have one parameter that is passed in that needs to be appended to the where clause. I want the parameter to contain a long string that has many conditions not just a single value.
I will be calling this query from a vb.net app and passing the string as parameter. I will not be using the Access object to control Access.
[REVISED]
Parameter strBigLongWhereClause text(255);
select *
from Authors
where & strBigLongWhereClause
[ORIGINALLY asked for]
Parameter strMyParameter text(255);
select *
from Authors
where AuthorName = strMyParameter
