This bid is for an automated [login to view URL] application (bot) that will place various different bets on the Betfair exchange poker game. This can be done using the Betfair API program, or webscraping, webscraping is definately my preference as I don't need to buy a licence for it. The bot will place up to 2 bets for each game.
At the start of the game, the bot will begin to watch each round. When certain set criteria has been met e.g. round 3 least favourite hand is between 7.9 and 12.4 a bet is placed at £[login to view URL] The bet would be the stated start balance.
Once the bet(s) have been placed, even if not matched, the bot should wait for the next game to start, and repeat the process. The bot should not place any bets where I specify.
The rounds are as follows.
round 1 no-card dealt yet
round 2 2 cards for each hand
round 3 3 cards dealt
round 4 1 card dealt (bet possibly placed here)
1 card dealt (Result is declared)
The process starts again, You may be able to determine which round is current by counting the number of suspended messages, I will be able to start the program in sequence, but it should be fully automated once up and running.
£[login to view URL] should be set at the beginning and then calculated after each game.
The software should check balance and take that as the next bet amount (and repeat each game). I'd like to be able to set some limits to.
So:
System watches game and rounds to match the criteria;
When criteria matches, bet is placed;
System checks balance at end of game. Uses that balance for next bet (when possible) and so on. Continuous and automated;
If balance hits zero, system stops. Also a bet limit e.g. 25 bets or balance stop limit.
The sucessful coder will be awarded extra work to adjust the code to suit my needs. I'm hoping for a fast turnaround on this program.
