The script I want will have a basic purpose turning newsletters into rss/atom feeds
The script I want will have a basic purpose turning newsletters into rss/atom feeds I'll walk you through it step by step 1)A user must be able to register choosing a user name and password and entering their e-mail 2)They will then be given a randomly generated e-mail to add to their newsletters, and the adresses of the atom and rss feeds that they should post on their site (i also want to send them a welcome letter holding this info, and the info should be vwiewable when they log into their account) 3)They add that e-mail to their newsletter and send the newsletter their newsletter is caught in a catch all e-mail for the domain (or I might put it on a sub domain) 4)The script checks the catch all e-mail account looking at the to fields of the e-mail for the addy randomly generated above upon recognizing a to field it matches it with the user name to which that e-mail was assigned and generates an rss & atom feed 5)this check should happen hourly (cron job) and should place the feeds in a mysql file (which would be related to the user name). There should also be a button in my adim that i can click to update the feeds 6)the subject of the e-mail will be the title of the feed, and body of the e-mail would be the contents of the feeds 7)all accounts will have to odes regular and premium which can be changed through the admin, regular acounts will have a header and footer added to the body of the feed which must be editable by me, premium accounts wont have the header or footer. 8)it will hold 1 edition of the feed, so as soon as a new e-mail comes to the specific “to addy?? it will replace the old one 9)would i assume be accessed like this: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] 10)the user also of course would have to be able to log into their account and be able to change their e-mail/password and view stats on how many times thier feed was loaded If anything is unclear, just ask, and if it names a difference I'm hosted on [url removed, login to view] hosting, managed dedicated server. It is also expected that upon completion the script be installed/setup on my server (though instruction for installation should still be provided). Thats a big list of things but I don't see this as being particularly hard.
