Create a AWS based software which will read 20 RSS feeds related to all the stock tickers in the NASDAQ and continuously create records in a DynamoDB instance of each RSS result text in XML format. There will be 4 - 6 records written for each RSS feed read. We expect at least 1,000 reads per minute so about 4,000 to 6,000 records will continuously need to be written to about 4 different tables and text files. We will need to intentionally store the data as is in unstructured format as well as do basic parsing and also store the same in data in a structured format. Once we find the suitable candidate for this job we can decide to use [login to view URL] toolls like YQL or [login to view URL] or to write the code directly on AWS using JAVA. The purpose of this project is to gather large amounts of stock related data for later analytics using hadoop.
