Clone the look and feel of a web application (video included)(repost with clarifications)

We've found a web interface for a CRM application that we like. The goal of this project is to replicate the look and feel (not the content) of this application. The video attached explains how the UI needs to look like. Note: We just want to reproduce the UI here. We don't expect you to do ANY backend job. However because this will with be the base of the future project it needs to be done in Java (you can use GWT+GXT, or any library you like to do the UI) as there will be a backend in the next stage. As the deliverables of this project we need: - An application (Java, to be deployed in google app engine, which is just a J2EE container) that has the slider bars in the sample application. - The bars will show a number of icons (different than the ones in the video). We will describe what of each of those icons need to represent and you'll help us find them. We don't need you to actually draw the icons. We'll buy them from fotolia. - A good looking background. - Note in the video how the icons open windows with tables, etc. We will need one of the icons to do the same thing. For now, any table will do, as we are trying to lay the basis for the application. A second stage of the project will actually define the database structure and so on. - You will deliver the project to us, with detailed deployment instructions into google app engine. Notes: - Code must be in English and be as self-explaining as possible - All tools and libraries must be open source and free. If you must use something that isn't free, please contact us first. If results are good, you can count on getting the rest of the stages too (the real meat). Note: - This project is to be made in JAVA (do not bid if you are gong to suggest any other language) and it's to be integrated in Google's Application Engine. We know it could be done in PHP, etc, but the final goal is not to replicate just the web interface, it's a large project with lots of stuff. You can of course cool javascript effects libraries.
