Need somebody to create a FreeBSD port for FTJava ([login to view URL]). Have attempted to do so myself but hitting a wall on the USE_JAVA and NO_BUILD dependencies along with pkg-plist issues. The few examples I have seen using this exact setup include PKG_PLIST= in the Makefile but as this port contains over a 1000 files, not practical here. Guessing I am missing something obvious and giving up, will pay for somebody else to create. Low bid price as this shouldn't take more than an hour. FTJava works as is on FreeBSD (I can manually install it and play it), just want a port made for the community. Note: You will need to create an ftjava wrapper script. I would also like user files (HOME_DIR) to conform to standard Unix installation, e.g. ~/.ftjava for user specific items (preferences, settings, scenario data, etc etc).
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional port. I want to be able to:
# cd /usr/ports/games/ftjava
# make install clean
# exit
$ cd
$ ftjava &
{...play the game...}
See note in description.
2) If you want to maintain life long maintenance (for free), you can make yourself the maintainer. If not, I will assume it. I can maintain the port, just need it created.
3) Work will be considered complete once the port is incorporated into the official FreeBSD port tree.
4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Both FreeBSD 5.4 and 6.0 on i386.
